The bird watch takes place next weekend. It is the 42nd RSPB bird watch and is the biggest, garden based, public science project. It produces very important information which helps us to help our birds in the future, especially the birds that might be struggling and in decline.

The weather should be a bit drier and colder by then, which will be good bird watching weather as birds don't feed as much when it's raining. You can use the identification sheet on last week's blog or you can just feed the birds and enjoy watching them.

Birds are very good at being mindful, they don't worry about the future too much, instead they just focus on and enjoy the present moment.

Don't forget to put food out during the next week.
