What a strange start to the new year it has been. Most children are working hard with their online learning at home. This can be tricky sometimes and you will probably be missing seeing your friends too.
It is more important than ever to look after our minds and our mental health and well being at the moment. This means focusing on good things and enjoying fun times when we can. It also means talking to someone you trust about how you are feeling. Talk to an adult at home or contact Katy at school (see above for email and phone number)
This month's calendar gives us ideas of how we can be happier...
January is the month when we all take part in the RSPB Big School Bird Watch. This year, you will be able to take part from your garden or when you are out for a walk. If you start putting food out for the birds now, you will have plenty of birds to watch in a couple of weeks when we do the bird watch.

Birds like wild seed and suet pellets. They also need clean water, especially when the weather is cold and the water is frozen.
You could even have a go at making a bird cake, but ask an adult if it's ok first!
